"Roan Hancock was the stallion originally purchased by Channing and Katey Peake to cross on their daughters of Driftwood. He was injured on the journey to California and subsequently died. Peake's then sold those Driftwood daughters to Jake Kittle, who then crossed them on Roan Hancock's full brother Red Man."
